Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis took to Instagram to express her opinion over the recent controversy that attracted the netizen’s attention.
In her Instagram post, the talent manager showed her support for Kapuso star Pauleen Luna-Sotto who slammed a netizen who criticized the physical appearance of her daughter, Tali Sotto.
According to Lolit, she knew that Pauleen will never fight back to the netizen if it was her or her husband Vic Sotto who got criticized.
But the entertainment reporter added that Pauleen only fires back the netizen because her defenseless and innocent child was the one who got disrespected and bull1ed online.
Lolit even called that those people who are criticizing a child online are a coward.
The talent manager wrote on Instagram,
“Sure ako na kung sila Vic Sotto at Pauleen Luna lang Salve, hindi mapipikon duon sa bashing, pero nang isali ang anak nilang si Talitha, ibang usapan na iyon.
“Kung minsan kasi ang hindi ko malaman kung anong happiness ang madarama mo bashing a kid like Talitha. Parang mga angels ang mga batang iyan kaya hindi dapat isinasali sa mga negative thoughts lalo na ng isang adult na tao.
“Imagine mo how an innocent child can react sa mga negatibo mong salita, to think na ikaw na nasa tamang edad hindi alam ang dapat gawin o gamitin salita. Awayin mo , pagsabihan iyon mga magulang dahil puwede sila lumaban, pero iyon bata, wow , hindi ba kaduwagan iyon ?
“Kahit ako nasa lugar ni Pauleen bilang ina, go, dapat malaman niya at matuto ng leksiyon. Bashing , meron din dapat sinusunod , huwag bara bara, piliin nyo. Bata isasali mo sa kab0bohan, magdusa ka. Go Pauleen, fight for Talitha.”
Last week, a certain netizen named Patrich Walter L. Harris made noises online after sharing the post of Pauleen and criticizing the physical appearance of baby Tali.
The said post reached to Pauleen which the latter prompted to send him a private message, saying that she can sue him for shaming and cyberbull1ying a minor (referring to baby Tali).
