The father of Argentine Sergio Aguero, the former Manchester City and current Barcelona player, criticized the English team coach, Pep Guardiola, describing his tears after the Argentine left his club as false.
The City coach was seen crying loudly while praising the Argentine star in one of the television interviews after the final match of the season in England.
Aguero’s father told the Manchester Evening News: “I can’t believe his tears, for me he didn’t want Sergio in the first place, he always wanted to be the main person.”
He continued: “I do not believe Guardiola, he did not even want to achieve the Champions League, he just wants to be the champion in any team he coaches.”
The Argentine’s father continued his attack: “He says that Aguero is irreplaceable, but he let him leave his team. He is a great coach, but with him things change a lot. You don’t know if you will play or not.”
He continued: “There are those who told Aguero that you should look for other opportunities. He renewed his contract and stayed with the team, but this time it became impossible than the last time.”
It is noteworthy that Aguero joined Barcelona in the past few days on a free transfer deal after the end of his contract with City.
