Former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos surprised everyone with an offer to his new teammate at Paris Saint-Germain and former Barcelona captain Lionel Messi.
According to the news published by “Alpais” and reported by the British newspaper Daily Mail, the Spaniard Ramos expressed his intention to open a new page with Argentine Messi, his former rival in the Clasico, which caused him to be expelled more than once during the Real Madrid and Barcelona matches.
Ramos told his teammate Messi that he and his family could move into his house to live with the family of the former Real Madrid captain if he got tired of staying in the hotel.
Ramos and Messi had previously competed in 16 seasons before joining Paris Saint-Germain this summer in two free transfers.
Paris Saint-Germain’s contract with Ramos and Messi has won international praise, especially from the fans of the French League runners-up, for its high technical and marketing value, which will make the French League the most important competition in the world.
Paris Saint-Germain was able to conclude significant additional deals this summer by including Dutchman Wijnaldum in a free transfer deal from Liverpool and Donnarumma from Milan, as well as Moroccan Achraf Hakimi for 60 million euros from Inter.
Messi’s experience is his first outside the walls of Barcelona, while Ramos previously played with Sevilla at the beginning of his professional career from 2004 to 2005 before moving to Real Madrid in 2005.
