The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” revealed that Barcelona club officials are seeking to conclude an agreement with the “Goldman sachs” Foundation to obtain a financial loan of 595 million euros, in order to get out of the current financial crisis that hinders the club’s march. The newspaper reported that Barcelona will get an amount of 595 million euros for 10 years at an interest of only 1.98%, the “Goldman sachs” Foundation will act as the club’s financial advisor, and the television broadcasting revenues will be the guarantor of this large loan.
The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona will receive 455 million of the total amount of the loan, in addition to 140 million euros as a value for negotiating previous debts.
