Concern prevails throughout the Catalan club these days, due to the specter of injuries that haunt its players, ahead of the upcoming match with Bayern Munich in the Champions League for the current season.
Barcelona suffers from the absence of some of the team’s stars, due to injury, and has been missing the likes of Brazilian Coutinho and Frenchman Osman Dembele for a long time.
The latest addition to the list of injuries was the Spanish player Jordi Alba, who did not participate in Spain’s match yesterday against Kosovo in the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Alba suffers from muscle discomfort, and is not fit to participate 100%.
Alba played the first game of the current international break, against Sweden, but did not participate in his team’s game against Georgia on Sunday.
Alba is scheduled to return to Barcelona today, Thursday, with his colleagues, Busquets and Eric Garcia, at which time the club’s doctors will examine and check on him.
It is worth noting that Barcelona will face Bayern Munich next Tuesday in the first round of the group stage of the Champions League.
