Tests carried out by the medical services of the Uruguayan Football Association showed that Ronald Araujo sustained a hamstring injury in his right thigh that occurred last Monday during the match against Argentina.
Araujo joins the list of injured players in Barcelona, and faces the risk of missing the Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday, October 24.
And Ronald Araujo, was substituted during the events of the Uruguay-Argentina match, in the 73rd minute of the match, after suffering an injury.
It is noteworthy that the match ended yesterday, Monday, with Argentina winning 3-0, in the fifth round of South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
Uruguay is fourth in the South American qualifiers table, with 16 points out of 11 matches played.
