Sniper of the Barcelona team and the Argentine national football team, Sergio Aguero, responded to rumors of ending his football career due to heart problems, confirming his return to the stadiums within three months.
The 33-year-old Argentine was taken to hospital after he developed a breathing problem during Barcelona’s match against Deportivo Alaves last October in the local league.
And the club came out after evaluating the condition of the striker’s heart, and said that Aguero would be “unavailable to play for his country, and during the next three months, the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated to determine the process of his recovery.”
However, Radio Catalunya came out and issued a statement last Friday stating that Aguero “will not play football again because of a serious heart problem”.
Soon, the former Manchester City star responded on Twitter to deny this matter and that it was not true.
Aguero announced that he was “always positive,” adding, “There are rumors circulating, but I follow the opinion of the club doctor and we will see how I am in 90 days.”
