Liverpool has drawn up a list of 4 players from the Barcelona first football team to sign one of them in the event of the departure of the Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, the star of the English team, to the ranks of the Blaugrana.
And according to the English newspaper “Daily Express”, Barcelona is ready to include Mohamed Salah at any cost, and therefore Liverpool is considering a reciprocal deal with the Catalan team, Barca.
The newspaper pointed out that Liverpool wanted to extend the contract of the Egyptian pharaoh, but the latter’s requests for a weekly salary of 500,000 pounds prevented reaching an agreement to continue, and that is why Liverpool felt some anxiety and fear about Salah’s future, and the possibility of forcing them to sell the player with the entry of his contract into his last year. That’s at the end of the season.
And the newspaper said that given Barcelona’s cash financing restrictions, Salah may move in a barter deal, and here Liverpool may look at four players he can request as part of that because if Salah leaves Anfield, there will be a huge gap to fill in the Liverpool attack and it may be the former Reds star Philip Coutinho is the man to help fill him in.
It reported that the Brazilian enjoyed a very successful time in his first term with Liverpool, and dreamed of moving to Barcelona, but this move did not go as hoped, as Coutinho struggled for a consistent playing time.
The list of candidates against Salah included the player Osman Dembele, who was a target for Liverpool for a long time, despite his frequent injuries with Barcelona, but is still under the radar of the English club and its coach, Jurgen Klopp, due to the talent of the Frenchman.
The name of the Dutch player, Frenkie de Jong, was included in the list prepared for Salah and it seems that it is an impossible deal, as the Express reported, because the Dutchman is a key player in Barcelona’s formation during the last two years since his move from Ajax Amsterdam.
As for the fourth player, Jaffe, who is facing Barcelona problems in renewing the contract of the talented player, who will be available for free departure in the next summer Mercato, and is one of the wonderful emerging players in Spanish football and became essential in the club and his country’s team at the age of only 17 years.
