The Spanish club Barcelona is trying to search for an offensive deal to strengthen the team’s offensive line in anticipation of the absence of Argentine Sergio Aguero for a long time due to heart problems.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is targeting the 23-year-old Brazilian player, Arthur Cabral, striker and captain of the Swiss Basel.

She explained that Cabral is linked to a contract with Basel until 2023, and the Swiss club paid 6 million euros to join him from Palmeiras, and Barcelona is seeking to include him on loan until the end of the season, with a mandatory purchase option of 8 million euros.

The newspaper said that the former Barcelona star Deco, who is working with the club recently and is seeking to include players from Brazil and Portugal, is participating in negotiations with the agent of the Brazilian player Paulo Betumbera in order to settle the deal.

And Mundo Deportivo continued: “The arrival of Arthur Cabral will depend on the approval of Xavi Hernandez and the technical staff, as the player will be evaluated before the final decision is made.”

Arthur Cabral has played 24 games with Basel since the beginning of this season in all competitions, in which he scored 23 goals and assisted 8 others so far.
