Spanish newspaper sources revealed, today, that Barcelona President Joan Laporta responded to one of the requests of coach Xavi Hernandez, which he insisted on before signing with the Catalan club.
And according to what was published by the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Barcelona had already agreed with doctor Ricardo Bruna to head the medical services in the Catalan club this season.
And the Spanish newspaper said that Xavi insisted on contracting with Bruna before he took over the technical task, in order to stop the epidemic of injuries that hit the team in recent seasons, and the players suffered greatly this season.
And “Sport” stressed that the agreement between Barcelona and Bruna will be officially announced, next Thursday, after the return of the first team to Barca from Saudi Arabia.
She explained that Bruna will start working with the first team in Barcelona immediately, and his main goal will be to make Ansu Fati and Pedri 100% ready after recovering from injury.
