Spanish press sources revealed that Juan Laporta is trying to get rid of some of the team’s players, whether on loan or final sale, in order to provide a huge financial value this season, enabling him to include new and distinguished deals.
Therefore, the management of the Catalan giant decided to leave some players of the team, whose presence Barcelona no longer needs, after consulting Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez, the team leader.
According to the Spanish newspaper, “Marca”, Valencia has entered into negotiations with Barcelona to include defender Oscar Mingueza, during the current winter transfer market.
The newspaper said that the salary of the 22-year-old is not high, so this could facilitate the understanding between the two clubs on financial matters.
In the same context, reliable journalist Gerard Romero stated that there are now advanced negotiations between Barcelona and Valencia, to complete the loan of Mingueza until December, but only some last details remain.
Mingueza renewed his contract with Barcelona last April, until the summer of 2023, but he has not had a great opportunity since Xavi Hernandez took over the technical leadership of Barca.
And the newspaper reported, that Valencia coach Pepe Bordalas asked to strengthen the defense line, and with Mingueza’s joining, Daniel Wass’ departure would be easy.
It is reported that Atletico Madrid reached an agreement with Wass to include him, to compensate for the departure of Kieran Trippier to Newcastle, England.
