Barcelona is still stepping up its pace, in order to sign strong and distinguished deals, during the current winter Mercato, to strengthen the team’s ranks and return again to compete for all championships.

During the past few days, Barcelona officials succeeded in signing the player of African origin, Adama Traore, from the English team Wolverhampton.

Only a few hours had passed since the announcement of the inclusion of the 26-year-old financial midfielder, until the Catalan administration revealed to Barcelona, that it was close to completing the expected deal within the team, in the current season, regarding contracting a heavy-caliber striker.

This great desire came from the Blaugrana management, after the team’s offensive line was weak in the recent period, after the approaching departure of Frenchman Othman Dembele, and the injury of star Ansu Fati, in addition to the decline in the level of Dutchman Memphis Depay, and the retirement of Argentine Aguero.

The administration of the Catalan giant entered into serious negotiations with Arsenal to buy the Gabonese striker Aubameyang, which the Gunners administration wants to get rid of, but the player’s weekly salary, which amounts to about 22 million euros annually, remains a major obstacle to the Blaugrana in light of the current economic crisis.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, the team’s management entered into advanced negotiations with the English giant Arsenal to include the Gabonese striker Emeric Aubameyang, whose departure from the team was confirmed after the exciting events between the two parties recently, which were the reason for withdrawing the badge from the Gabonese.

The newspaper, quoting the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, said that Barcelona wanted to sign Alvaro Morata, the Italian Juventus striker, who is loaned from Atletico Madrid, but the exaggeration of the Roji Blancos management made Barcelona distracted from the idea of contracting the player.

And the newspaper confirmed, “Barcelona’s negotiations with Arsenal and Aubameyang have progressed a lot in the last hours, and the Gabonese will arrive on loan until the end of the season.”
