Brazilian player Dani Alves, who entered the history of Barcelona with several records, sent a message of encouragement to all the fans of the Catalan team, after beating Atletico Madrid (4-2) yesterday, Sunday, at the Camp Nou, in the 23rd round of the Spanish League.
Alves managed to score the fourth goal of Barca against Atletico Madrid, during the confrontation that the Blaugrana team won against Roji Blancos (4-2).
And Alves posted on his account on “Instagram” a picture of him from the match, and wrote on it: “Thank you Camp Nou for this wonderful day .. I’m back here again for this reason.”
After this goal scored by Alves, the Brazilian player, who is 38 years and 276 days, became the oldest player to score for Barcelona in its history in all competitions.
He is also considered the fourth largest player to score a goal in La Liga in the 21st century after Donato, Jorge Molina and Joaquin Sanchez.
And the veteran defender continued: “To live such wonderful days together is priceless .. Do not forget that together we are unstoppable!”
Alves participated mainly in the match, and scored Barcelona’s fourth goal at the beginning of the second half, before violently interfering at the feet of Yannick Carrasco, the star of Atletico Madrid.
The referee of the match, Gil Manzano, resorted to video technology before issuing a direct red card in the face of Alves, in the 69th minute.
It is worth noting that Alves is the largest player to be expelled in Barcelona’s history, knowing that a few weeks ago he became the largest player in the club’s history in La Liga.
