Javier Clemente, the former coach of the Spanish national team, and the current coach of the Libyan national team, expressed his concern about the way Xavi Hernandez dealt with Barcelona.

Xavi Hernandez took over the responsibility of coaching the Catalan team at the end of last year, succeeding Dutch coach Ronaldo Koeman, who was sacked from coaching the Barca ranks due to poor results.

Xavi’s start with Blaugrana was mixed, as he achieved some victories, but failed in several other matches.

Clemente gave a press interview with the Spanish newspaper Marca, in which he said, “Xavi has entered a club with big problems.”

And the great coach continued, “Xavi was a star, and he must appear well, and training at Al Sadd is like training at Real Madrid.”

He concluded his press statement, saying, “Xavi’s training career has started now, and he has an open and very big world because he was a great personality, but he wants the players to play the same way he played and this is not training.”

It is worth noting that Barcelona is fifth in the La Liga standings with 38 points, one point behind Atletico Madrid fourth, and two points behind Real Betis in third place, knowing that Real Madrid is in the lead with 54 points, and has played two more games than Barca.
