Barcelona is seeking to secure a goalkeeper position during the coming period, in order to strengthen the Catalan team during the competitions of the local championships and the continental competition.
According to what was published by the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Barcelona is actively seeking during this period to win the services of Moroccan international goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, player of the Spanish football team Seville, in the upcoming summer Mercato.
And the newspaper said, that the modest penalty clause included in Bono’s contract with his club, which amounts to 30 million dollars, tempted many big clubs to seek a contract with him in the upcoming summer transfers.
The newspaper confirmed that one of the most important clubs seeking to contract with Bono and obtain his services is the Spanish team Barcelona, which wants to strengthen its ranks with a good goalkeeper.
The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona puts the 30-year-old Moroccan goalkeeper at the top of its priority to sign him during the summer transfer period, in anticipation of the departure of the replacement goalkeeper, Neto, at the end of the season.
The newspaper stated that the Seville club’s management paid attention to the matter, and will review the Moroccan goalkeeper’s contract, and improve the financial terms to activate it at the end of the current season, in order to cut the way for all teams that are considering breaking the penalty clause before its end.
