Spanish press reports stated that Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez will monitor Sevilla’s French player Joel Conde in the upcoming match this evening in the Spanish League.
Barcelona will meet its counterpart Seville tomorrow evening, Sunday, in the framework of the thirtieth round of the Spanish League at the Camp Nou stadium at nine o’clock Cairo time.
The Catalan newspaper, Sport, indicated that Barcelona put Conde as an alternative option in the event of the failure of the contract with the German Antonio Rudiger, the Chelsea player, in light of the negotiations between the two parties at the present time, and that Xavi admires the player’s technical capabilities greatly.
The newspaper stressed that Xavi intends to include the player, as the player is very similar to the technical and defensive methods that he relies on at the present time through pressure and speed in building play from the back.
Barcelona knows full well that the process of including Conde is very difficult, in light of the Andalusian team’s commitment to a large sum of money in exchange for opening the door for the player’s departure from the walls of the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
Barcelona hopes to achieve victory in order to take second place from a competition, where Barcelona is in third place with 54 points, while Seville comes in second place with 57 points, with a match minus in favor of the Catalan team.
