Spanish press reports revealed that Barcelona had settled on the departure of a player from the team’s formation after it had fully agreed to renew the contract of Uruguayan player Ronald Araujo during the coming period at the Camp Nou.
And the newspaper “El Nacional” reported that after the renewal of the Uruguayan defender, the Catalan club is currently looking for offers in order to give up the services of French defender Clement Longlett in the summer.
The newspaper pointed out that Joan Laporta, president of Barcelona, has settled on obtaining approximately 10 million euros in exchange for giving up the services of the French player, who had many catastrophic mistakes during the past years.
The newspaper confirmed that Longlett has interest from many La Liga clubs, led by Seville, Real Betis, but the player’s huge salary with Barcelona remains a major obstacle in negotiations with clubs interested in his services.
It is noteworthy that Clement Longlett’s contract with Barcelona will expire at the end of the summer of 2025.
