Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, the coach of the Manchester City football team, has identified the first summer deal after leaving the Champions League against Real Madrid.

According to the British newspaper, “The Times”, Guardiola is close to concluding a major exchange deal with Barcelona.
And the English reports, quoting the Catalan newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, indicated that the azure club coach is looking forward to contracting a midfielder to strengthen the ranks of the first team next season, and the goal is Barcelona and the Netherlands national team player.

And the newspaper said, that Manchester City has set its first summer deals and wants to sign Barcelona star De Jong, who has been watching him since he was an Ajax player before moving to the Catalan club in 2019.

Although De Jong has a contract with Barcelona that ends in June 2026 and has the confidence of coach Xavi Hernandez, but the difficult financial situation may open the door to selling the Dutchman if he makes a good offer.

On the other hand, it was reported that Barcelona had renewed its interest in Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

According to English and Spanish reports, Barcelona will work to sign the brilliant player during the current summer transfers.

Reports indicated, the Portuguese player is admired by Barca coach Xavi Hernandez, and believes that he will be a great addition to the team if he arrives.
