Spanish press sources revealed that the Barcelona club management, led by Joan Laporta, succeeded in resolving the first summer deals of the Catalan team by including the rock club Chelsea.

Barcelona is still planning for the future of defending the Catalan team, as it aims to sign deals at the highest level during the coming period.

And according to what was published by the Spanish newspaper “AS”, the Spanish player, Cesar Azpilicueta, has an agreement with Barcelona for a two-season contract with an annual salary of 13 million euros, in addition to a clause allowing for a third season extension.

The Spanish newspaper said that Azpilicueta was only waiting for the plan to sell Chelsea to a new owner, in order to speak with the club’s management about the departure.

The newspaper confirmed that the Barcelona administration is closely monitoring the situation, as the Catalan club wants to include the Spanish right-back at any cost.

On Saturday morning, Chelsea announced the agreement to sell the club in an official statement.

And the newspaper reported, that Chelsea had activated the clause to extend Azpilicueta’s contract until the summer of 2023, with a promise to leave in the event of the club’s sale.

It is reported that many reports confirmed that Barcelona had also decided to sign Andreas Christensen, Chelsea defender, and Frank Kessie, AC Milan midfielder.
