Mon Confiado is one of the best and versatile actors in the Philippines. Aside from his good looks, Mon was known and admired by many because of his incredible talent in acting. With several films he made, whether it is an indie or mainstream and several TV series, Mon is considered to be the most important pillars of the Philippine showbiz industry.
In a Twitter post, Mon revealed his secret on being such a great actor.
He wrote,
“One of the most important elements in acting is characterization: making the characters seem vivid, real, alive.”
But just recently, Mon surprised many people with the big changes that happened on his physical appearance. Because of this, many couldn’t help but wonder if the changes in his physical appearance were only a part of his project in the showbiz industry or he has a severe illn3ss that he didn’t only tell to the public.
After a few weeks of remaining silent over the matter, Mon revealed that it was only a part of his preparation for the next character he would portray in his film.
He wrote in his Twitter account,

Many netizens admired Mon even more because he is really dedicated to every role given to him. He really his whole just to portray his role perfectly.
But according to the actor, it was never easy for him to achieve the big changes that happened to him.
Mon received “Best Supporting Actor” twice at the FAMAS Awards, in 2008 and 2018.
Mon Confiado is one of the veteran actors in the Philippine entertainment industry who appeared in more than 300 films both locally and internationally.
