Spanish press reports revealed a high-caliber surprise, after they confirmed that Barcelona president Joan Laporta set the sale price for one of the Catalan club’s stars this summer.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Laporta has decided the fate of Alex Moreba, the young Barcelona midfielder.
And the newspaper pointed out, Laporta gave the player a final deadline to renew his contract with the Catalan club.
And the newspaper added, if Moriba does not renew his contract with Barcelona, he will be on the sales table this summer.
Barcelona set 30 million euros as the price to sell Moriba in the summer Mercato, after he presented a distinguished level last season.
Moriba’s contract in Barcelona expires on June 30, 2022, and the player refuses to renew his contract with the club in light of the interest of Chelsea and the two Manchesters in joining him, alongside Real Madrid.
